How it all started...
In 1988 Pastors Tom & Marsha Roberts arrived in Havelock, North Carolina.
Over time, they changed the name from Community Christian Fellowship to Liberty Christian Church.
Over the years, they have guided us to be under the oversight of Liberty Network International and also led us in building a newer sanctuary to help house the growing numbers attending Liberty Church!

Expanding the vision...
For many years now, a common thing heard by new members at Liberty is "as soon as I walked in, I felt like I was home". We love hearing that! It is our hope that you'll feel at home when you visit us too.
Jesus tells us that all of the law and commandments hang on 2 things:
1. Love God
2. Love People
Because of that, we try hard to make sure that no matter where you are at in life, there's a built in community for you. We have ministries designed for kids, teenagers, adults, men, women, seniors, and even young single adults. You only truly get to be a visitor at Liberty ONCE! After that, you're home.

We truly want to make a difference for the Lord in Eastern North Carolina. The hope is that whether you are inside or outside of the church walls, we can help you "Experience Kingdom Life".
God wants us to be saved, but he has so much for us to do after salvation! We believe that if we come together, with the help and power of the Holy Spirit, we can accomplish great things for the Kingdom of God.
